A favorite of UC Davis Arboretum horticulture staff for eco-friendly gardens in California, it has showy, fragrant, apricot-pink flowers in spring and summer, a naturally graceful form and practically thornless stems. Evergreen in mild winters, its leaves turn a beautiful burgundy color. This rose uses less water than many roses and resists pests, so it does not require chemical pesticides.
