A zen garden in Davis

Rare bird sighted at Davis wetlands

Birdwatchers are driving and flying in from around the state to see California’s first-ever common ringed plover, an Asian species. It was spotted at the city of the Davis wetlands on Friday afternoon by Todd Easterla, who was doing a shorebird survey for the city.
