That’s a statement with which the 58 grads from Davis High Classes ’29 to ’50 who celebrated their reunions on Saturday would agree.
Wendell Jacob, Class of ’47, hosted the Davis grads in his home before the group headed over to Sudwerk restaurant and brewery Saturday evening to continue reminiscing over a prime rib and lasagna buffet dinner.
Shared memories included the Davis-Dixon rivalry, the championship basketball team winning in Vacaville — complete with a bullet in the bus windshield — and playing basketball at Stu Rowe’s farmhouse where every other dribble found a cow pie.
