Biotech company to move from Woodland to Davis

A biotech company from Woodland  has decided to pull up its stakes and move to Davis. In fact, it has already broken ground on the city’s east side. Citizens Who Care presents its 20th annual benefit concert, “ ‘s Wonderful: The Great Lyrics of Ira Gershwin,” Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 18-19, at the Veterans’ Memorial Theater, 203 E. 14th St. Performances are at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Ira Gershwin is best known for his work with his brother George — one of the most successful and prolific collaborations in popular music history.

Their many hits include “Fascinating Rhythm,” “The Man I Love,” “Someone To Watch Over Me,” “’S Wonderful,” “How Long Has This Been Going On,” “I’ve Got A Crush On You,” “Embraceable You,” “I Got Rhythm,” “It Ain’t Necessarily So,” “They Can’t Take That Away From Me,” “A Foggy Day,” “Nice Work If You Can Get It” and “Our Love Is Here to Stay.”
