Basic blues
The Bill Scholer Blues Band will conclude this seasonÕs weekly downtown concert series with a performance from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the E Street Plaza, between Second and Third streets, Davis.
This event is part of the Davis Downtown Business AssociationÕs free ÒFriday Night MusicÓ concert series.
Scholer, a UC Davis and UC Berkeley alum, has performed solo and as a member of bands such as The Rural Sophisticates and The Joy Buzzards for more than 40 years. He currently heads an arts program at California State Prison Ñ Solano, in Vacaville.
