Have breakfast with Santa Claus
Tickets go on sale Friday for the annual Breakfast with Santa in Downtown Davis. This yearÕs event, sponsored by the Odd Fellows Lodge, will take place Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St. in downtown Davis.
Seating is limited and tickets, which are $8 each, will not be sold at the door. The Odd Fellows have held the ticket price steady for the past five years, says event co-chair Lea Rosenberg.
The ticket includes breakfast of pancakes, sausages, orange slices and cinna-bread; a goodie bag for each child; and an opportunity to take a photo with Santa and his elves. Parents are advised to bring their own cameras.
Tickets are available for purchase only at two Davis locations: The Avid Reader, 617 Second St., and Common Grounds, 2171 Cowell Blvd.
Three seatings are planned: from 8 to 9:15 a.m., from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Only 120 tickets are available for each seating and they typically sell fast, says event co-chair Barbara Geisler.
Breakfast with Santa is made possible by donations from the Davis Food Co-op, WoodstockÕs Pizza, Kona Coast Food Products, Puroast Low Acid Coffee, HanleeÕs Automotive, Davis Ace Hardware, Tandem Properties and Law Offices of Roberta Savage.
