Soroptimist International of Greater Davis once again would like to thank the following sponsors for their support of the clubÕs 16th annual benefit golf tournament July 17 at the Davis Municipal Golf Course.

The tournament was truly financially successful and due in part to all of the sponsors and local businesses that donated items for the raffle and silent auction.

A special thank you also goes to Mike Lear and Susan Matthews (Points West Argo) for setting up and displaying a beautiful, new golf cart that could have been awarded to a person who got a hole in one on the 11th hole at the golf course.

The tournament winners were Earl Booth and Tim Reid in the Handicap flight and Scott and Demitri Smith in the Callaway flight. Winners of the closest-to-the-pin contests were Shawn Wilson for the men and Renee Miller for the women. Most accurate ball winners were Scott Smith and Karen Kryston.

A special thanks goes to Soroptimists and volunteers for the Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center, who worked so diligently the day of the tournament and procured raffle and silent auction prizes for the tournament.

Thanks to all the individuals and businesses who contributed to this very worthy cause. The proceeds from the tournament will once again go to the Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center, an organization benefiting victims of child abuse and their families in Yolo County. We hope we can count on your support again next year!
