ENGAGEMENT: Faber-Rogers

Elizabeth (Betsy) Faber and Andrew Jonathan Rogers, both of Arcata, are engaged to be married in the spring of 2011.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Michael and Lynn Faber of Essex Junction, Vt.

She graduated from UC Davis with a bachelorÕs degree in nature and culture in 2002 and a masterÕs degree in education in 2009. Former education manager for the UC Davis Arboretum, she is an academic adviser at Humboldt State University.

The groom-elect is the son of Ronald and Barbara Rogers of Carmichael.

He graduated from Humboldt State University with a bachelorÕs degree in 2003 and is an environmental scientist with specialties in watershed science and wildlife biology.
