The ÒThursday Live!Ó concert series will celebrate its first anniversary with a jazz show at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St., Davis. The program will feature a set by Electropoetic Coffee, a duo comprising poet/lyricist Lawrence Dinkins, left, and guitarist/composer Ross Hammond. The two blend spoken-word poetry and original folk songs with jazz harmony and electronic-infused layers of guitar sounds. TheyÕll be joined by the Jaroba Duo Ñ James Robert Barnes, sax and clarinet; and Scott Nelson, guitar Ñ which will present a jazz-rock set. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. The evening of music will help kick off the Natsoulas GalleryÕs fourth annual Davis Jazz and Beat Festival this weekend. For additional information, call (530) 219-5444.
