The ÒThursday Live!Ó concert series will celebrate its first anniversary with a jazz show at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St., Davis. The program will feature a set by Electropoetic Coffee, a duo comprising poet/lyricist Lawrence Dinkins, left, and guitarist/composer Ross Hammond. The two blend spoken-word poetry and original folk songs with jazz harmony and electronic-infused layers of guitar sounds. TheyÕll be joined by the Jaroba Duo Ñ James Robert Barnes, sax and clarinet; and Scott Nelson, guitar Ñ which will present a jazz-rock set. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
