Jason Warriner and Hannah Tashjian, both of Oakland, were married on Oct. 10, 2009, under the redwood trees at the home of the brideÕs parents in Berkeley.
The groom is the son of Tom and Jacque Warriner of Davis.
He holds a bachelorÕs degree from UC Santa Barbara and a masterÕs degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is a senior designer at Citilabs.
The bride is the daughter of Dickran and Ann Tashjian of Berkeley.
She received her bachelorÕs degree from Orberlin College, a masterÕs degree from San Jose State University and completed the North Bennet Street School bookbinding and paper conservation program. She works at the UC Berkeley library.
The wedding was presided over by the groomÕs father, Yolo Superior Court Judge Thomas Warriner, and the bride was escorted by her father.
The reception took place at the brideÕs parentsÕ home. The food was catered by Roli Roti, and a toast to the couple included champagne and a French wedding cake (croquembouche), made with a cone of cream puffs. The entertainment was provided by musical trio Hot Club of San Francisco.
The couple honeymooned on the North Coast of California before returning home to Oakland.
