‘Alice in Wonderland’ opens Friday

The Woodland Opera House Theatre for Families will open Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Opera House, 340 Second St. in downtown Woodland. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through May 15. The show is underwritten by the Rotary Club of Woodland. Based on the well-loved children’s book by Lewis Carroll, this stage adaptation includes all of the favorite characters and songs from the animated Disney film. The show is directed by Emily Jo Seminoff and M.J. Seminoff, with musical direction by Lori Jarvey. Lower-level tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and students and $8 for children 17 and under.
