Alkali Flats to play free outdoor show

By From page A7 | September 25, 2013

The Alkali Flats — a Sacramento-area band known for their cowboy hats and their feisty mix of hillbilly/honkytonk music — will give a free concert at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, in the Corin Courtyard at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. The courtyard is the patio area adjacent to the box office. The Fusion Fresh Cafe food truck will be selling light meals and refreshments, and the public is invited to drop by. This free event precedes the 8 p.m. performance by Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell in the Mondavi Center’s Jackson Hall. A few tickets are still available.
