An Evening at the Coconut Grove benefits DHS band

The Davis High Jazz Band will play at the annual fundraiser from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Emerson Junior High School, 2121 Calaveras Ave. The concert also features The J Street Jazz Cats, Sax by Popular Demand, the Crazy Eights, the Harper Junior High Jazz Band and DEH (Da Vinci, Emerson, Holmes) Junior High Jazz Band. Jazz and music lovers may reserve a ticket for “An Evening at the Coconut Grove,” featuring some of the coolest young musicians playing the hottest music in Davis.

The annual fundraiser is from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Emerson Junior High School, 2121 Calaveras Ave. The concert features the Davis High School Jazz Band, The J Street Jazz Cats, Sax by Popular Demand, the Crazy Eights, the Harper Junior High Jazz Band, and DEH (Da Vinci, Emerson, Holmes) Junior High Jazz Band.

Tickets are $30 for general and $20 for students before Feb. 20. After that date, general tickets are $35. Dinner will be catered by Dos Coyotes. There is also a silent auction. All seats are by reservation only — first-come, first-served. Visit http://groups.dcn.org/dhsbandboosters to reserve your place.
