The Arielle Deem Band will be performing music from its debut album, “No Place Like Now,” at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Our House, 808 Second St. in Davis, as part of their album release tour.

Arielle Deem is a 2010 graduate of Davis High School and recently received a  bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and musical arts from the California Institute of the Arts. She is also an alumna of the Berklee College of Music. Her new 8-track LP stems from an original fusion of jazz, R&B and popular song form.

The band — which features Zephyr Avalon (bass), Deem (vocals),  Joshua Linsky (drums) and Robert Perez  (keyboards) — will be joined by musician friends Joomanji.
