‘Art Couture Party’ celebrates Bastille Day
Francophiles, unite! A Bastille Day-inspired “Art Couture Party” is planned at The Wardrobe, 206 E St. in downtown Davis, from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday, July 15.
Owner Heather Caswell invites all fashionistas to dress up in French-inspired fashions. The evening will feature French hors d’oeuvres and desserts, dancing to the Sound of Fashion and viewing of retro French films.
The Sound of Fashion is a music series developed by Caswell, who has moonlighted as a disc jockey for 25 years.
“Music and fashion are always the passion at The Wardrobe,” she says. “Fashion is like music to the eyes. It is best described as local DJs mixing music to dress to, groove to, dance to and romance to!”
