‘Art of Painting’ conference set in Davis

By From page A9 | March 05, 2013

The fourth annual “Art of Painting” conference and workshop will take place March 8-9 at the John Natsoulas Gallery, 521 First St. in downtown Davis. John Seed, an art writer and professor, will be the conference’s keynote speaker. His blog on the Huffington Post gets more hits than any other writer in his field, Natsoulas said.

Lectures and demonstrations from the top painters in the country also are planned. A UC Davis elephant tram also will take visitors on a Davis art tour.

The cost of the conference varies, but discounts and scholarships are available. For more information, visit www.natsoulas.com.
