International Bluegrass Music Association Vocalist of the Year Claire Lynch will bring her band and winsome mix of bluegrass, Americana and country to The Palms at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23. Tickets are $20.

A creative force in bluegrass music, Lynch is a pioneer who pushes the boundaries of the genre. The Claire Lynch Band — which features Mark Schatz on bass and vocals, Bryan McDowell on mandolin, fiddle and vocals, and Mark Wingate on guitar and vocals — has the innate ability to interpret the subtlety and genre-defying sophistication of Lynch’s music.

Lynch garnered two Grammy nominations and won two International Bluegrass Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year awards.

Tickets for The Claire Lynch Band’s show at The Palms Playhouse, 13 Main St., Winters, are available at Armadillo Music in Davis, Watermelon Music’s branch in Woodland, Pacific Ace Hardware in Winters and at the door if not sold out. For more information, call 530-795-1825 or visit palmsplayhouse.com and www.clairelynch.com.
