By May 17, 2011

Curious about clay? All levels of sculptors and potters ages 16 and up are welcome to join the last spring session of “Wheel & Hand-Building for Teens & Adults” with Clarice Baker at the Davis Art Center.

The class takes place Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9 p.m., May 31 through June 28. The fee is $77 for Art Center members or $87 for nonmembers.

Baker will teach the basic hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques, while encouraging students to discover the artist within. This will be the last class she teaches before retiring after a 45-plus-year career at the art Center.

To register or for more information, call (530) 756-4100, or stop by the Davis Art Center at 1919 F St.
