Banjo Fiddle to perform at Rootstock

By From page A7 | August 26, 2014

RootStock in Winters is hosting bluegrass performers Banjo Fiddle while offering tastes of a newly available wine on Friday, Aug. 29.

Banjo Fiddle’s apt name should tell bluegrass and country fans all they need to know about the act, the duo of Mark and Julie Peet.

RootStock will be offering tastings of Julie LePla’s 2011 cabernet sauvignon, which was introduced to the tasting room last week and is already a popular choice among visitors.

The show and tastings run from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at RootStock, 22 Main St., Winters.
