Bonanza King Band at Village Homes

Bonanza King will brings its eclectic country swing at 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 22, to the Village Homes Performers’ Circle.

The band is fronted by singer Kari King. Much of the band’s music — influenced by ragtime, old jazz, blues and many forms of country music — is danceable and written by King.

Bonanza King will get listeners toes tapping and hands clapping. In addition to King, Bonanza King members are Keith Cary on steel guitar, J. Cedar Seeger on electric guitar, Roger Kunkel on fiddle, Steve O’Neill on bass and Nick Carvajal on drums.

The Village Homes Performers’ Circle is a free event. It features performers of all levels and creative expressions, and is held the fourth Monday of each month (except December). Sign-up for open-mic begins at 6:45 p.m., with sign-up performances from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. The featured act performs from 8:30 to 9 p.m.
