Brady will talk about her mixed-media art

By From page A9 | October 04, 2012

Susan Brady will be the guest speaker at the Photography Club of Davis meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. A longtime resident of Davis and former owner of The Farmer’s Wife bakery/coffeehouse, Brady earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art at UC Davis and took up photography about eight years ago. She has taken two photography trips with Road Scholar — one to the Tetons and another last fall to Wales.

Brady will talk about how she started experimenting with her photos in mixed media, combining photos with her paintings into a single piece. Much of her work is shown and sold in galleries in the Carmel area.
