Cast your vote for favorite artwork

By March 30, 2011

There’s a new art show in town, courtesy of the Yolo County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Department and the Mental Health Services Act Wellness Center. Artwork, poetry, crocheting/quilting, photography and other crafts created by those served by the agencies in Yolo County will be exhibited Thursday and Friday, April 7-8.

The show will run from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Walker Thomson Conference Rooms at 137 N. Cottonwood St. in Woodland. Guests will be asked to vote for their favorite piece to win the viewer’s choice award, and can enjoy tea or coffee from the client-run Cool Beans coffee bar.
