Celebrate spring at I-House on Sunday

By From page A9 | April 23, 2014

The third and final installment of Celebration of Spring is from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at International House, Davis, 10 College Park.
The night will feature open-mic’ performers during the first hour — sign-up at 6:45 p.m. — followed by the featured performer Dave McAsey.
McAsey lives with his wife Jenna in Davis, where he usually performs as a solo entertainer. He blends an array of open tunings and fingerstyle techniques. His vocal styles are strong and varied. He has developed an original blend of homegrown funk, jazz and ambient tunes; crooning in a variety of covers, with a sense of freedom and native ability.
All ages are welcomed, and requested to come and enjoy the warm living room atmosphere of the I-House.
This event is an ongoing fundraiser that benefits the I-House. Suggested donation for this event is $5 to $20. Beverages and snacks will be available to purchase. Any size donations are appreciated.
