The Gary Lee Yoder Band — Don Fox, lead guitar and vocals; Gary Lee Yoder, guitar and lead vocals; Craig Faria, drums; Dale Lyberger, bass and vocals; Dean Sylvester, lead guitar and vocals; Albert Vasquez, percussion (not pictured); and Jimmy Brasier, drums — bring their own special blend of country rock oldies, ballads, blues and bluegrass to Picnic in the Park on Wednesday. The fun runs from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Davis Farmers Market in Central Park, Fourth and C streets.

The market is full of seasonal produce, including strawberries, asparagus, snap peas, bok choy, greens, lettuces, herbs, carrots and potatoes, plus local free-range eggs, honey, olive oil, jams, dried fruit, nuts, flowers and garden starts. Craft booths are at the north end of the market.

An international food fair offers picnickers a wide array of dinner specialties, and the food can be washed down with beer and wine poured by Soroptimist International of Davis. Proceeds benefit local charities.

Children’s entertainment includes Central Park’s bicycle-powered carousel, Rocknasium’s climbing structure, Bouncing Bungalows, face-painting and balloon-maker Dilly Dally the Clown.
