Chamber Music Society of Sacramento comes to Davis

The opening Chamber Music Society of Sacramento concert, featuring a variety of “Songs of the Earth,” is at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at Sacramento State’s Capistrano Hall. The second concert is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Congregation Bet Haverim, 1715 Anderson Road in Davis.

September’s concerts feature the Ariel Quartet, playing Beethoven’s String Quartet in D major. Pianist Gwendolyn Mok will join them for Piazolla’s Piano Trio, “The Seasons,” and Dvorak’s Piano Quintet in A Major.
