Chatham County Line brings bluegrass to The Palms

Chatham County Line is a young and extraordinarily talented bluegrass quartet known for its left-of-center approach, bringing passion and excitement to their music, and adding a bit of a rock ‘n’ roll sensibility to bluegrass and other roots forms of music. Chatham County Line will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at The Palms Playhouse, 13 Main St. in Winters.
Chatham County Line formed in 1999 in Raleigh, N.C., has released six recordings, five of them on influential Yep Roc Records. Chatham County Line is Dave Wilson on guitar, harmonica, and lead vocals; John Teer on mandolin, fiddle, and harmony vocals; Chandler Holt on banjo, guitar, and harmony vocals; and Greg Readling on bass, pedal steel, piano, and harmony vocals.
Tickets are $15 and are available at Armadillo Music in Davis, Watermelon Music in Woodland, Pacific Ace Hardware in Winters and at the door if not sold out.
