The Davis High School Advanced Treble Choir is hosting Davis’ own Community Idol competition at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Brunelle Performance Hall at DHS, 315 W. 14th St.
The local competition features talented vocalists vying for the title of Community Idol. Contestants will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and wow the audience while competing before a professional judging panel for prizes.

The evening also will include ATC’s school-year debut and a special performance by members from the local band Red Union Blue.

Tickets are $6 in advance at Watermelon Music, 207 E St., or $8 at the door.

Proceeds will benefit the choir’s music enrichment program and its upcoming trip to New York City, where it has been invited to sing at Lincoln Center.
