Craft Center exhibit explores ‘Possibilities’

UC Davis Craft Center Gallery presents “Possibilities,” the imaginative exhibition of Craft Center veteran Paul Ulbrich. The opening reception — with Ulbrich in attendance to answer questions — will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, at the gallery. The exhibit is open now and runs through May 2.

The exhibit will feature a diverse collection of objects mostly constructed at the Craft Center as forms of personal recreation. The pieces were produced in pursuit of the curious and the interesting conceptual thoughts of what might be possible. Among these are works of ceramics, paintings, LED light arrangements and wooden sculpture.

Ulbrich is a retired ER doctor who spent 30 years practicing in Chicago, Ill., before coming to Davis.
