Create art and family memories at I-House class

An art program for families will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at International House Davis, 10 College Park. The program is co-hosted by Senses Cultural of Sacramento and the I-House.

Senses Cultural, a nonprofit organization, is presenting the “Art Healing Family Program” because the healing process that takes place through being creative is more important than the final outcome, said spokeswoman Tata Monfared.

“We dedicate this program to inspire families in sharing some fun and valuable experience together,” she said.

Two professional artists from the Bay Area will work with individuals at the event in creating paintings using elements of Pop Art as a base. Senior citizens are particularly welcome, Monfared said.

For more information, contact Monfared at 916-835-5666 or [email protected] or visit www.facebook.com/SensesCultural.
