The Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre presents the “Davis Dance Project: Making Dance” an exploration of how form follows function in the world of the choreographer.

This lecture, demonstration and performance includes performances by the Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre, the PTDT Apprentice Company and The Third Stage, in addition to performances by guest dancers Flow Crew, Level 4 Variations students and Arye Briar. The Davis Dance Project also includes audience participation opportunities, with the audience creating and setting a dance on the company.

Lectures are 7 p.m. Friday, and 2 and  7 p.m. Saturday at the Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop In-House Theater, 2720 Del Rio Place.

The program is funded in part by a grant from the Yolo Federal Credit Union, allowing children 12 and younger to attend for free. General admission is $12. Tickets are available, in advance, at the Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop, and at the box office, 30 minutes before each show.

For more information, visit www.trokanski.com or call 530-756-3949.
