The Davis Children’s Chorale will honor mothers and special teachers at its annual spring concert at 7 p.m. Friday at the Davis Community Church Fellowship Hall, 421 D St. in downtown Davis. The chorale will sing songs that were featured at a recent festival in Aptos, plus more of their favorites.

Admission is free, but donations are welcome at the door. Refreshments will be served following the concert.

Except for their appearance at the Memorial Day commemoration at the Davis Cemetery, this concert will conclude the chorale’s program for the year. ¬†Activities will reume with a fall meeting from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, in the music room at Davis Community Church.

Anyone wishing to audition for the fall season may do so by making an appointment with Rachel Kessler, the director, at (530) 756-3807 or rdksop@jps.net. More information about the chorale can be found at http://vapinc.org.
