Davis Chorale plans spring concert

The Davis Chorale will present its spring concert, “Frostiana,” at 8 p.m. Friday, May 20, at St. James Catholic Church, 1275 B St. in Davis. A second concert will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at Davis Community Church.

The chorale will perform the Mozart Vespers, Bach Cantata 150, Five Hebrew Love Songs by Eric Whitacre, and “Frostiana,” settings of seven Robert Frost poems with music by Randall Thompson.

Director Alison Skinner will conduct the 50 singers, who come from Davis, Woodland and Sacramento.

The concert is free, but donations are welcomed at the door. For more information, call 530/574-8419.
