The Sacramento Symphonic Winds, featuring Davis resident Maquette Kuper on the flute, will present “Musician’s Choice!” at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the Crowne Plaza Sacramento Northeast, 5321 Date Ave., in Sacramento.

Les Lehr will conduct the 60-piece band through Carmen Fantasy by Georges Bizet — which highlights Kuper — and other selections including Overture to Candide by Leonard Bernstein, Symphony #1, “The Lord of the Rings,” I. Gandalf by Johan De Meij, Abbey Road: A Symphonic Portrait by Ira Hearshen and more.

Tickets are $10 general, $5 for students and seniors, and are available at the door. Children under 8 are free.
