DHS Jazz Choir perform pops concert June 7

Tickets are on sale now for the Davis High School Jazz Choir’s “Jazz-N-Pops” concert, to be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 7, in the Brunelle Performance Hall at DHS, 315 W. 14th St.

The concert will feature the DHS Jazz Choir and Combo directed by William Zinn, with choreography by Cara Rains. The program will include a choreographed medley from the musical theater production “Rent,” “Penny Lane” by The Beatles, “Rosanna” by Toto, jazz standards “The Night We Called It a Day” and “Watch What Happens,” as well as a broad selection of solos and ensembles especially prepared for Jazz-N-Pops by Jazz Choir members.

Advance tickets are $8 general and $5 for students. They are available from Jazz Choir members and during lunch on the DHS Quad next week. Tickets are $10 at the door the night of the concert. For more information, contact William Zinn at wzinn@djusd.net.
