DMTC holds auditions for ‘A Christmas Carol’

By From page A11 | September 11, 2012

The Davis Musical Theatre Company announces auditions for its next musical of the 2012-13 season, Alan Menken’s “A Christmas Carol.”

Auditions will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16, and Monday, Sept. 17, at 7:30 p.m. with callbacks on Tuesday, Sept. 18, also at 7:30 p.m., at the DMTC Performing Arts Center, 607 Pena Drive #10, Davis.

Those auditioning should bring a prepared song — not from the show — and an accompanist will be provided (no taped, CD or a cappella music). This is a Main Stage production, so all ages are welcome.

Performances will run Nov. 16 to Dec. 9, with shows Fridays and Saturdays at 8:15 p.m. and Sundays at 2:15 p.m.
