Joan Randall, the daughter and granddaughter of Titanic survivors,  lecture titled “In Search scheduled for tonight at the Davis Musical Theater Company Performing Arts Center, 607 Pena Drive, was cancelled due to low ticket sales.

Randall, whose mother was 4 when the ship sank, has spent years piecing together her family history. She took a cruise April 15 to the accident site on the 100th anniversary of the sinking. Ticket proceeds would have benefited DMTC and Davis Media.

DMTC also will play host to a special wine tasting event on Friday. Napa’s premiere “X” Winery will have a pre-show tasting event. The tasting begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free to ticket holders. Tickets for “Titanic: The Musical” — which runs through May 6 — are $18 general, $16 students and seniors.  The show runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8:15 p.m. and Sundays at 2:15 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased in advance, online at www.dmtc.org or by calling (530) 756-3682.
