DMTC set to host a Haunted House

By From page A11 | October 16, 2012

The Davis Musical Theatre Company triple-dog dares residents to get into the holiday spirit by attending one of its guided Haunted House tours, running from Friday, Oct. 26, to Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the DMTC Performing Arts Center, 607 Peña Drive.

Opening night, the house runs from 7 p.m. to midnight with a full complement of ghosts and ghouls.

A family-friendly version is from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. The fear level will be scaled back for kids and their parents. That night’s haunting from 7 to midnight is fear-level high.

The final haunting times are 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, and 7 to 11 p.m. on Halloween, Wednesday, Oct. 31.

This is a guided Haunted House, with two groups of visitors in the house at any one time — guests waiting in the lobby will encounter a few spooky situations as well. At least three rooms will be visited by our guests, plus the main stage and the hallways.

Cost is $8 at the door. Saturday’s family version is $5 for adults and kids.
