‘Dream’ dances onto Vets’ stage

The Davis Arts Center presents a Hanneke Lohse ballet production of the full classical comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” Friday through Sunday at the Veterans’ Memorial Theater, 203 E. 14th St. Titania’s fairies are, from left, Anna Morse, Julia Rea, Emma Larson-Maynard, Sela Martin-Lopez and Elena Blewett.

A hundred dancers from Davis and surrounding neighborhoods — ranging in ages from 4 to 65 — will give five performances of this three-act ballet, described as a hilarious and enchanting ballet appropriate for the entire family.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 and 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 each and are available at the Davis Arts Center, 1919 F St., and at the theater door.
