Enjoy music, wine at Wine’d Down Thursday

The first Wine’d Down Thursday of the new year will feature the sounds of Chris Lee and Trena Thompson of Red Union Blue from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at Sundstrom Hill Winery, 2744 Del Rio Place in Mace Ranch.

Lee, a songwriter, has teamed up with vocalist Thompson, combining on rock, pop, folk and country tunes. They and the other Red Union Blue band members have become well-known in the Sacramento area music scene, having recently played at The Naked Lounge, The Sheepherder Bar and Grill, The Phoenix and will be appearing at Davis High Idol at the end of January.

Their debut album, “Learning to Fall,” was released in 2013 and since then they have been writing for their second album. For more information, visit sundstromhill.com or call 530-574-1296.
