Experience dance improv at UCD

By From page A9 | January 07, 2014

The Institute for Exploration in Theater, Dance and Performance at UC Davis will present “Finding as Making/Singing No Songs” — an improvised piece for voice and electronics — at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, and 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, in Lab A of Wright Hall.
This anti-monumental and ambient work, composed by performance studies doctoral candidate Gretchen Jude, explores one person’s embodied relations to technology and the environment.

Walking, listening, recording and vocalizing form the core of this piece.

This event is unticketed, and a $5 donation is suggested.
