Explosion of color at The Artery

By July 12, 2011

Ken Kirsch and Karen Roughton use different art mediums but both of them are bold with colors. Their art work is on display now through Aug. 2 at The Artery, 207 G St. Davis.
Kirsch, a UC Davis graduate, paints on wood with oils. His work is not confined by a frame but appears to roll off the edges.
Roughton, a Sac State graduate, uses her paintings to interpret the environment and emotions.
The Artery is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. and Fridays until 9 p.m. For more information, check out the website at www.theartery.net
