Frankie and Fabletones at Picnic in the Park
Frankie and the Fabletones — Heidi Bekebrede, vocals; Frank Fox, vocals; Dianna Craig, vocals; Sergei Shkurkin, keyboards; and Chris Sanger, vocals — bring oldies from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s to Picnic in the Park on Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Farmers Market in Central Park, Third and C Streets in Davis.
The band has performed together for nine years. They’ll sing the “Davis Song,” the official song of the city of Davis, which was written by Bekebrede. Frankie and the Fabletones are a Picnic in the Park favorite that will have everyone dancing.
