French play to show at UC Davis

The French theater company Prospero Miranda will perform “Je reviens de la vérité” (“I return from the truth”) at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in the Main Theater of Wright Hall at UC Davis.
The play is based on the writings of French Resistance member and Auschwitz survivor Charlotte Delbo. It will be performed in French with English supertitles.

Thanks to the sponsorship of the UCD departments of French, Italian, German and Russian, and professor David Biale and distinguished professor Emanuel Ringelblum, the play is free to the public.

“Je reviens de la vérité” was created by the Compagnie Prospero Miranda under the direction of Agnès Braunschweig as part of the 100th birthday celebration of Delbo (1913-1985), an author and playwright.
