Ron Goldberg and Norm Milstein are the featured act Monday, Aug. 25, at the Village Homes Performers’ Circle, at the Village Homes Community Center, 2661 Portage Bay Ave. East.

Goldberg and Milstein have been buddies and fellow musicians for more than two decades. They share a love of song, story, nature and shameless wordplay. Both have performed extensively in Davis — together and with other musicians.

Milstein, who now lives in Richmond, says he’s pleased to return to his old hometown to play with Goldstein at the Davis Performers’ Circle. Their performance will feature some of Milstein’s songs and poetry concerning nature, life, love, astronomy, vegetables, mathematics, macaroni and clothing.

The Village Homes Performers’ Circle is a free event. It features performers of all levels and creative expressions, and takes place on the fourth Monday of each month (except December).

Sign-up begins at 6:45 p.m., with sign-up performances from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. The featured act performs from 8:30 to 9 p.m.

For information, call 530-756-3611.
