Hardwater: An Evening at the Vets
Hardwater brings An Evening at the Vets concert series to a close at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Veterans’ Memorial Center. The featured performers will be supported by Rowan McGuire.
McGuire, a senior at DaVinci High School, started playing the drums before he was 5 and then branched to guitar a few years later.
Hardwater, a Davis-based band, performs original songs and covers, bringing unique musical impulses to a diverse mix of tunes from the Beatles, Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead to Counting Crows, Barenaked Ladies and the Dave Matthews Band. The sound is a mélange of rock, blues, folk and roots, reflecting the eclectic tastes of core band members.
