Hardwater at Village Homes Performers Circle on July 25

Davis band Hardwater is the featured act at the Village Homes Performers Circle on Monday, July 25, from 7:15 to 9 p.m. in Davis.

The band will perform its first ever “unplugged” show, pulling from sources including Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Mark Knopfler, Taj Mahal, Dave Matthews and Sting among others. The sound is a mellifluous mélange of rock, blues, folk and roots reflecting the eclectic tastes of band members John Swann on guitar and vocals, Bob Lindley on violin and electric mandolin, Johnny Flores on percussion, Rob Gonzales on bass, and Richard Day on guitar and harmonica. This free event features performers of all levels and creative expressions, and is held the fourth Monday of each month, except December. Sign-up performances are from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Featured acts perform from 8:30 to 9 p.m.
