Haunted Forest springs up in Winters for third year

By From page A11 | October 18, 2012

The Winters Haunted Forest, 9084 Winters Road, returns for its third year of frights and fun bigger and scarier than ever.

Designed for adults and teenagers, the Haunted Forest — which last year ran for four nights — is open for 10 nights this year, from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Thursdays to Saturdays through Oct. 27, and Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 29-31.

The Haunted Forest is a fundraising opportunity for several groups, including St. James Catholic School and the Winters High Boosters Club. All groups will receive a portion of the proceeds from the $15 admission ticket on the night they volunteer.
