Hear BaNK4 at Sundstrom Hill Winery

By
From page A11 | October 30, 2013 |

BaNK4 — an acoustic band playing classic rock and R&B tunes from Eric Clapton, the Allman Brothers, the Beatles, Tom Petty and The Band — will perform from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Sundstrom Hill Winery in Davis.

Molecular biologists Randy Berka, Aubrey Jones and Glenn Nedwin are from the Amplified DNA Band and are joined by physician’s assistant Steve Kotarek, a powerful singer/songwriter. BaNK4 also will be joined on flute by former UC Davis chef Andy Burtis.

Band members have performed at many venues, both locally for the past 20 years, as well as at gigs in Monterey, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, Denmark, and at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

Locals are invited to enjoy one last outdoor fall Saturday event at the winery, 2744 Del Rio Place. For more information, call 530-574-1296 or visit www.sundstromhill.com.
