Based on Miguel de Cervantes’ tale of two talking dogs and on José Ortega’s theatrical adaptation, “El Coloquio de Los Perros” (“The Colloquy of the Dogs”) is produced by Grupo de Teatro La Poltrona and presented by the UC Davis Institute for Exploration in Theatre, Dance and Performance.

Adrienne Martín, a professor in the UCD department of Spanish and Portuguese, serves as artistic director, sharing directing credit with doctoral candidate Juan Hernando Vázquez.

“El Coloquio de Los Perros,” performed entirely in Spanish, will be presented at 6 p.m. Friday, April 12, in Wyatt Pavilion Theatre on the UCD campus. Admission is free and seating is limited.
