There are five free musical events slated for December at Atria Covell Gardens, a retirement community at 1111 Alvarado Ave. in North Davis. All the events are free and open to the public.

The Davis Youth Flute Choir will perform at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, and they’ll be followed by the barbershop harmonies of the West Valley Chorus in a 7 p.m. Christmas concert that evening.

The award-winning Davis High School Madrigal Singers will perform at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9.

And two bands from the Davis Waldorf School will perform holiday concerts. The concert band and ensemble will play at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, and the strings band will perform at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11.
